Nose- mineral, rye grain, grass, light fruit and brow sugar

Taste-dark fruit and baking spices

Finish- fairly short finish with bitterness & cherry.  Shocked that it was not juicer considering the finishing cask.

Nose– slightly astringent, rye, cherries, baking spice and brown sugar

Taste– rye grain, oak, unsweetened dark chocolate, red hots

Finish– very short with hints of raisin & cocoa

Nose- graham cracker, blackberries, hardwood, browned butter

Taste-chocolate! (reminds me of homemade chocolate pudding), roasted cereal grain

Finish- long roasty finish with hardwood from the nose appearing in back in the finish

Nose- barley, fruit wood, jammy, earthy

Taste- raw cocoa smoke, red fruit, oak, sweet with almost a gritty mouthfeel

Finish- long and dry, earthy, barley, smoke

Age: 10 months in 3 year old air dried chinkapin oak

QUICK NOTES:

HERS-

NOSE-  caramel corn, baking spices, light damp wood essence (like if you were sitting by a creek)

TASTE: smooth mouthfeel of caramel

FINISH: pop of butterscotch that quickly fades into cinnamon spice and lingers with soft touches of vanilla

NOSE- sweet corn, charred oak, young candied sweetness at the tip of the tongue

TASTE- slightly hot, rounded out by sweet corn, and hints of dark fruit

Distillery: Product of Haas Brothers said to be distilled in Kentucky at Heaven Hill and then product aged in white oak barrels in San Francisco

Taste- light on tongue, cereal grain, soft cherry

Nose- heavy char, powdered sugar, slight citrus

Taste- cinnamon, oak, light caramel sweetness

Finish- bitter citrus rinds, char, quenching, almost pepper like burn to the finish

Taste- warm thin mouth-feel, charred oak, pepper, cinnamon

Finish- somewhat one dimensional, finish is fairly long filled with charred oak and semi dry
